General Information on the Personal Data Protection Law

Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (KVKK) was adopted on 24 March 2016 and published in the Official Gazette No. 29677 dated 7 April 2016.

Data Controller

Pursuant to KVKK No. 6698 and in its capacity as Data Controller, Nirenga may record, store, update, disclose/transfer to third parties where permitted by law, classify and otherwise process your personal data in the ways listed in the KVKK, within the framework described on this page.

How Your Personal Data May Be Processed

The personal data you share with Nirenga may be processed, in whole or in part, by being obtained, recorded, stored, modified and reorganized by automated means or by non-automated means, provided that the latter form part of a data filing system.

Personal Data Processed

The following personal data may be collected and processed through our platform:

  • Identity information: First name, last name, e-mail address
  • Contact information: E-mail address, telephone number
  • Account information: Username, password (hashed), profile photo
  • Payment information: Payment history, billing information
  • Usage data: Videos created, credits used, script contents
  • Technical data: IP address, browser information, cookie data, session information

Purposes of Processing Your Personal Data

The personal data you share is processed for the following purposes:

  • Providing and improving AI video production services
  • User account management and authentication
  • Processing payments
  • Fulfilling obligations under Law No. 6563 on the Regulation of Electronic Commerce and related legislation
  • Providing customer support services
  • Ensuring platform security and preventing abuse
  • Fulfilling legal obligations

Third Parties to Which Personal Data May Be Transferred

Your personal data may be transferred to the following third parties for the purpose of providing the service:

  • Vercel: Website hosting services
  • Railway: Backend server infrastructure
  • Amazon Web Services (AWS): Storage of produced videos (S3)
  • ElevenLabs: Text-to-speech (TTS) service
  • fal.ai: AI video production (lip-sync) service

Transfer of Your Personal Data Abroad

Due to the nature of the AI video production service, some of your personal data (script content, avatar preferences) may be transferred to service providers located abroad (ElevenLabs – USA, fal.ai – USA, AWS – EU/USA) within the scope of the KVKK and in line with the purposes of the agreement.

Storage and Protection of Personal Data

Your personal data will be kept confidential in the databases held by Nirenga in accordance with Article 12 of the KVKK and will not be shared with third parties except for legal obligations and the arrangements set out in this document.

To ensure the security of personal data, Nirenga:

  • Uses SSL/TLS encryption
  • Stores passwords hashed with bcrypt
  • Stores payment information securely
  • Applies access management and authorization mechanisms
  • Prevents abuse through rate limiting

Your Rights Under the KVKK

Pursuant to Article 11 of KVKK No. 6698, you have the following rights:

  1. To learn whether your personal data is being processed
  2. To request information if your personal data has been processed
  3. To learn the purpose of processing your personal data and whether it is used in accordance with that purpose
  4. To know the third parties, in Türkiye or abroad, to whom your personal data is transferred
  5. To request the correction of your personal data if it has been processed incompletely or inaccurately
  6. To request the deletion or destruction of your personal data within the framework of the conditions set out in Article 7 of the KVKK
  7. To request that correction, deletion and destruction operations be notified to the third parties to whom the data has been transferred
  8. To object to a result against you arising from the analysis of the processed data exclusively through automated systems
  9. To request compensation for damages if you suffer damage due to the unlawful processing of your personal data
